So a lot has been happening..

Well first off, I would like to announce that I officially have been having some less-than-desirable luck in handling motorized vehicles. After multiple accidents involving a motorcycle, I actually did stop using that bike for awhile. As it turns out, the problem wasn't the bike. It was me.

So today, on my way to iftar, I was frantically looking for parking my local mall when suddenly I met with another accident. This time, however, it involved my dad's newly painted Hilux truck. The scrath extended from the back door until the tail lights. Ugh.

I felt bad. But worst, the car I scratched was a brand new D-Max. The seats were still in wraps! I really felt bad for the guy so I just said I'll settle the bills for the repairs. Just send me the receipt later. So we exchanged contact details and off I went to iftar. The food didn't settle so well..

Then I remembered, I have no cash. at all. You want a screenshot of my bank account statement? Sorry CIMBClicks is down right now :p

That's not really what I'm here to blog about.

There's something weird going on around my neighborhood this past week. Around last week, I come home to find a dog's carcass in front of my neighbor's yard. Poor thing. It was already bloated and the drool became a stream that ended up until the nearest drain. It definitely wasn't hit by a car, and all the body parts were still intact.

Just now, I found a cat lying in front of my house behind my dad's car. Of course I thought it was sleeping but further investigation reveals that it was, sadly, not even breathing. The tail fur was in an odd state, like it was overly surprised or scared. It lied there on the asphalt like it was a statue and was pushed down onto the ground. Broke my heart. Didn't emit that much of a smell yet but the sight of it was disgusting enough.

My dad's theory is that someone has been leaving rat poison out in the open and they put it inside foodstuff. Cats and dogs can eat the same things anyway so I guess the theory can be weighed in. The animals might have mistaken that for food and just ingest poison into their system.

People should think about the larger consequences when they do things that are seemingly harmless to them. We had rat problems in my house once but we tried to solve that as humanely as possible, never once we risked the health of other beings outside the compounds of the house. That's very selfish.

I just hope my cats doesn't stray too far from the house. They'll eat anything.

On another note, I found a 10 ringgit note in my jeans. So that's one good news :)
