Wah. Nasib.

So today I spent the whole day at home, naturally.
I'm still in that chilling mood.

I did plan to go a run but I only realised that after I showered.
I, of course, didn't want to shower again after a good run so that plan went out the window pretty quickly.

So I stayed home and being the good house-child that I am (ehem), I cleaned the house and ate a lot of junk food that was let lying around literally everywhere. I did compensate with orange juice, I think.

At night around 7:30pm I went out to meet up with my buddies, Fendi and Charlene. Charming, intelligent people. Had a great time eating brown rice nasi goreng at El Centro and learning a few new things about the legal profession and life in general.

So I went back home and everything was cool until I reached home. My neighbour is holding a wedding reception for his son so typically the street leading up to my house was packed left and right with cars big and small.

I didn't want to complain, it is a wedding after all. I want my wedding to be somewhat like that. The crowd, I mean. The problem was that even my house had no more parking left so I was forced to park near the shops.

that's around 200 meters from my house.

So I parked, locked the cars and walked home. The road's pretty dark, with light being blocked by all the cars. I was really careful not to step in any of the crevices. The sidewalk is basically a covered ditch leading to my house, a poorly covered one because of all the cars that parked there.

lubang sini sana. seriously.

Around 20 meters from home, I decided to the stupidest thing I did today. I checked Twitter on my tab. Five steps after I took it out, I fell into the biggest hole there.

The thrill of falling is quite distinguished, especially in the dark.

Damn it. I tore my favourite pair jeans and my underarm was cut. I think my cut on knees after the motorcycle accident yesterday was scraped again, adding to the bruise. I think I cut my hand trying to get out of the ditch because it could only hang on to rubbles. Sharp-edged rubbles.

Luckily I fell upright.
Alhamdulillah the ditch was relatively dry and my Tab was still in my hand.

There's a lesson to be learned here, but I'll let you learn that. I need to clean my wound.
