I opened my e-mail today and I have been invited to participate in Peaceful Warriors for Change by MyHarapan, those guys who organised the Youth Nation Summit a few months back.
Ngeh. I'll just copy-and-paste bits of the e-mail.
"Peaceful Warriors for change is an international NGO which is based in the Hague, Netherlands. Motivated to bring together the youths from every corner of the world together in this global movement, PWDC has chosen Malaysia to kick start its Asia recruitment process. Furthermore, PWFC is looking for global, ethical, servant young leaders who are thirsty for change to attend and be apart of their launching of World Summit 2012 which will be done in the Hague, Netherlands.
In view of your excellent achievement, you have been selected as one of the25 candidates to attend this event and meet with the founder of this movement itself, Seren Dalkiran, and be apart of this historical event."
Just one problem..
"Thefore, we would be in deep gratitude if you could reply back your confirmation of attendance, by Thursday, 14th of July 2011, for us to confirm your seats. "
Damn it, that was yesterday!
The event's tomorrow, I don't think I can bring myself to the event and go to debate training the day after.
ah well. Perhaps next time :)
